Research Consortium on workplace learning
Last year in September a group of Danish researchers commenced
research collaboration on workplace learning. The group is formally
organized as a research consortium under the newly formed "Learning
Lab Denmark" (LLD) (http://www.lld.dk)
which has been established by the Danish Ministries of Education,
Research and Business. The work by this particular consortium
is financed by the Danish Labour Market Authority which is a division
of the Ministry of Education.
The consortium consists of a number of senior-researchers and
PhD students from Roskilde University, The Danish University of
Education, Aalborg University, Copenhagen Business School, and
Kubix Consultant Agency. Professor Knud Illeris from Roskilde
University (knud@ruc.dk) is the
director of research and Henrik Nitschke (henrik@lld.dk)
is the administrative director as well as the link to LLD.

CONFERENCE ON VOCATION EDUCATION &
TRAINING
The 5th International conference organised by the Journal of Vocational
Education & Training will be held in Greenwich, London, from
16-18th July, 2003. The theme is 'Researching Policy and Practice
in Vocational Education & Training' and the deadline for abstracts
